How It Works

1. Medication Adjustments (1 Week Prior): Stop taking blood thinners (e.g., Aspirin) and health supplements (such as Fish Oil, Ginseng, Ginkgo, Vitamin E, Lutein, Turmeric, Natto, or Red Yeast Rice) 7 days before your exam.

2. Diet Prep (2 Days Prior): Switch to a low-residue diet (e.g., plain porridge, plain noodles, white toast, or low-residue meal replacements) to reduce intestinal stool.

3. Bowel Prep (1 Day Prior & Exam Morning): Take your prescribed bowel cleansing agent (e.g., Bowklean) in two split doses as instructed, drinking plenty of water/sports drinks until your stool is a clear, light yellowish liquid.

4. Fasting & Water Ban: Stop all water intake 4 hours before the examination to prevent aspiration during anesthesia.

5. Procedure & Recovery: The painless procedure takes place under sedation. Afterwards, you will rest in the recovery area until the sedative wears off.

Good to Know

• Report Delivery: Your complete English report will be ready in 7–10 business days.

• Transportation Safety: Because you will receive sedation, you must not drive, ride a bicycle, or operate machinery after the procedure. Walking and taxi is okay.

• Clinic Rules: Do not wear contact lenses or nail polish/gel polish on the day of the exam, as these interfere with vital sign monitoring.

• On-Site Medical Procedures: Biopsies, tissue removal, polyp removal, hemostatic clips, or H. pylori testing performed based on the doctor's judgment during the scan are separate medical treatments and incur additional fees at check-out.

• Medication Guidance: If you take diabetes medications or anticoagulants, consult your physician for exact suspension instructions. Continue taking chronic constipation medications as usual.
