Refund & Cancellation Policy

Rescheduling & Exam Date Changes

We do not charge any fees for changing or rescheduling your exam date as long as the request is made at least 7 days prior to your scheduled exam date, and the new date falls within 12 months of the initial booking. All rescheduling requests are subject to provider availability and clinical capacity.

Cancellations & Refunds

We understand that travel plans and personal schedules may change. Initial deposits and payments made to New Dawn Labs Inc. are refunded according to the notice window provided (calculated based on Taipei Standard Time / GMT+8):

• 100% Full Refund: Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to your scheduled exam date.
• 50% Partial Refund: Cancellations made between 7 and 13 days prior to your scheduled exam date.
• No Refund: Cancellations made within 7 days of your scheduled exam date, within 24 hours, or for no-shows / missed appointments.

Additional Terms & Conditions

• No Added Taxes / Exemptions: Health checkups and diagnostic imaging services are tax-exempt; no additional taxes are added, and these services are not eligible for tourist tax refunds.
• Identification & Check-In: Patients must present a valid passport and email booking confirmation/reservation number upon check-in at the medical center.
• Incomplete Exam Preparation: If an exam cannot proceed because clinical prep guidelines (such as fasting or required bowel preparation) were not followed, the visit will be treated as a same-day cancellation.
• Medical Safety Disqualifications: If our clinical team determines prior to your scan that you cannot proceed due to strict safety contraindications (e.g., severe renal impairment thresholds or incompatible metal implants), our staff will assist you in converting your deposit to an eligible service or rescheduling.
