Method: Non-invasive Stool Sample Collection, Stool Analysis, Intestinal Microbiota Sequencing, using Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology.

Overall Process and What to Expect:

• Step 1: Sample Collection: iHope Clinic will provide you the stool sample kit and they will process it for you by sending it to a CLIA/CAP-accredited laboratory.

• Step 2: DNA Sequencing: The lab uses metagenomic Next-Generation Sequencing (mNGS) to analyze all the microbial DNA in your sample. Rather than checking for just a few common bacteria, it reads thousands of microbes (bacteria, fungi, phages, parasites) present in your digestive tract.
