iHope Clinic carries thirty-four bookable items, twenty of them packages, which makes it by a wide margin the broadest provider in our network. It also carries more single items than anywhere else in our network, so it is the easiest place to assemble a visit rather than buy a bundle. It is not the only one: Central Clinic carries ten single items, Beitou six and Eonway two.
Prices start at $25 for a Helicobacter pylori biopsy and run to $3,300 for a comprehensive whole genome sequencing package. The entry screening tier, Convenient, is $299 and is delivered here and nowhere else.
Fourteen of the thirty-four items are screening, imaging or specialist appointments.

| Upper Endoscopy and Colonoscopy | $499 | 1 hour |
| Digestive: Upper Endoscopy and Colonoscopy | $499 | 1 hour |
Two scheduling facts come straight from our own product records. The Convenient package is available on Wednesdays or Thursdays only, and so is the digestive endoscopy at this clinic.

If pigment lasers are the reason you are looking at Taipei, our guide to pico laser treatment in Taipei covers the category rather than this one clinic.
It means you pay the clinic directly. It does not mean the treatment is free.
The Custom Treatments item is listed at $0 because no price can be set before a dermatologist has seen your skin. Our record says the final quote is presented after an in-person consultation, and that you pay at the clinic once the treatment is complete.
So a $0 line in a catalogue is a booking, not a discount. Ask for the written quote at the consultation, before anything is performed.
Less than a mid-tier bundle, if what you want is narrow. The four rows below are arithmetic on the prices above, not recommendations. Which tests belong together is a question for the doctor who orders them.
| What you are asking | Items | Total |
|---|---|---|
| Two single scans, no package | Abdomen ultrasound, liver fibrosis scan | $215 |
| A baseline plus one question | Convenient package, H pylori breath test | $374 |
| Cardiovascular and hormone bloods | Lipids panel, female hormone panel | $369 |
| Endoscopy with a biopsy allowance | Upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, H pylori biopsy | $524 |
These are arithmetic on our own list prices, not offers. Nothing here bundles, and nothing here discounts.
The trade is real, though. A package is a decision made once. A build is a set of decisions you have to make one at a time, which is harder and usually cheaper.
Several of the items above have published positions, and some of those positions cut against buying the test.
| Test | Body and year | Position |
|---|---|---|
| IgG food panels | AAAAI | Recommends against, for allergy or intolerance diagnosis |
| Tumor marker panels | National Cancer Institute | Do not work well for screening |
| Sleep apnea screening, no symptoms | USPSTF, 2022 | Insufficient evidence to assess benefits and harms |
| PSA prostate screening | USPSTF, 2018 | Grade C ages 55 to 69; Grade D from 70 |
| Colonoscopy | USPSTF, 2021 | Grade A, ages 50 to 75, every 10 years |
| H pylori testing, no symptoms | National Cancer Institute | Evidence does not support widespread testing |
| Whole genome sequencing | MedlinePlus Genetics | Significance of much of the information is unknown |
The allergen panels deserve the plainest treatment. Our own product records describe them as combining an IgE component with an IgG component, of 44, 101 and 101 food items respectively.
The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology states that IgG food testing has never been scientifically proven to be able to accomplish what it reports to do. It says many organizations, itself included, have recommended against using IgG testing to diagnose food allergies or intolerances.
The IgE half of those panels is a different measurement with a different clinical history. We are not going to pretend the two halves carry equal weight.
On H pylori, the National Cancer Institute notes that the World Health Organization's International Agency for Research on Cancer classified the bacterium as a human carcinogen in 1994. It also states that most experts agree the available evidence does not support widespread testing and eradication in the United States.
None of this tells you what to do. It tells you which questions to put to a physician before you pay.
Nine of the thirty-four have an empty description field. For those we can give you the title, the price and the appointment length, and nothing else.
On the liver item, NIDDK describes elastography as an imaging test that helps determine whether advanced liver fibrosis is present, by measuring liver stiffness. It also notes that a biopsy can show fibrosis at earlier stages than elastography can.
That is what the test class is for. It is not a description of our protocol, because our record does not contain one. Ask before you book.
Every screening tier above the entry level, and every full-body MRI.

Our comparison of Taipei screening centers sets out which tier is delivered where, and it is the page to read if you have not chosen a tier yet.
No, and as a clinic it cannot appear on one of the two.
Hospital accreditation has been run by the Joint Commission of Taiwan since 1999 and is valid for four years. It accredits hospitals as institutions, so a facility that is legally a clinic under Article 12 of the Medical Care Act falls outside its scope.
The Health Check-Up Program Certification is the register that could apply. The Joint Commission launched it in 2011 and describes it as looking at the check-up process from a recipient's perspective.
iHope Clinic did not appear on that register when we checked it on 9 September 2026. Three caveats apply, and they matter.
One more honest note. The clinic's own website is published in Traditional Chinese, and states no English-language service that we could find. Our team handles the English side of a booking here.
In five steps, and the first four can be run from your desk. Keep the CDC's own caution at the top of them: "Accreditation does not guarantee a good outcome."
The register check above is step one, and for a facility classified as a clinic it can only ever return one of the two schemes. The remaining four steps are where the answers come from.
None of that is a judgment about quality. It is what makes a facility evaluable, which is the most a checklist can deliver.
Run the same five steps on any provider in any country. A facility that will not answer them in writing has told you something before you pay a deposit.
The clinic is at 3F, No. 456, Section 4, Xinyi Road, Xinyi District, Taipei City 110, next to Taipei 101.
Its own contact page directs visitors to take the red line to Taipei 101 or Xinyi Anhe station and walk. The red line is Taipei Metro's Line 2, the Tamsui-Xinyi Line. The clinic does not publish a walking time, so we are not going to invent one.
Check-in is split by floor. Our record says medical appointments check in on the 3rd floor of the building and aesthetics on the 4th.
The clinic publishes consulting hours of 9:00 to 12:00, 14:00 to 17:00 and 18:00 to 21:00. Those are its stated general hours, not a guarantee that your specific appointment type runs in all three blocks.
Yes. Taiwan's National Health Insurance Act sets a residency test that a visitor cannot meet.
Article 9 opens enrollment to foreign nationals holding an alien resident certificate who have established a registered domicile in Taiwan for at least six months, or who hold regular employment. A short trip qualifies you for neither.
Article 22 of the Medical Care Act requires receipts that clearly state the items and the fees. Ask for the itemized receipt on the day, particularly if you are assembling a visit out of many small items.
The Convenient package is $299 for a listed 1.5 hours, and single items here start at $25. Every current price is listed on our packages page.
An English physician debrief is available on request, so ask for it when you book. If a colonoscopy is the reason for the trip, our comparison of colonoscopy costs without insurance covers that procedure specifically.
Plan on a few weeks of notice for most appointments. Some need longer and some can be arranged quickly, so a single number would mislead.
iHope is the one provider in our network where a reader can assemble a visit rather than buy a bundle. That freedom is the whole point of the place, and it is also the risk.
A bundle at least commits someone else to a defensible list. A build is only as good as your reasons for each line, and two of the categories sold here have named bodies advising against the test for the use most people have in mind.
Take the list to a physician, ask what each item would change, and drop anything that survives only because it was on the menu.
